I bought four of these so far. I bought one for a birthday present to an 8 yr old kid. He also got a lot of other real expensive gifts and games for gis birthday. This was his favorite and he wouldn't put it down, even toplay his new Switch! His older brother was upset and wanted one. I bought one for him as well and he loves it. I decided to buy one for my oldest son, but bought one for my youngest as well after seeing the other boys' reaction. My kids love and use them all day, every day since. The battery last a decent amount of time, but I am still charging these things 2-3 times a day. I am not complaining about the battery life, however the only improvement I think these could do is have a longer battery life or a faster charge battery.
I hope the constant use and recharge cycles do not diminish the performance too quickly, but if the batteries get too bad, I'll buy more. They are worth it. They have held up well so far.

Works amazingly!! I was worried the string would get tangled. And while it will, if you’re doing crazy things, it’s not a bad tangle and only takes a few seconds to undo it then your back at it.
On the glow string there is a light where the string comes out that is constantly recharging it, so you never have to stop and charge it!
Me, my husband and my kids all play with it. Even my 2yr old can use it without getting frustrated. Even when it tangles its very easy to fix. The batter life is amazingly long. The strings come in different lengths and colors. I highly recommend this toy. Very satisfied customer here.
